Disappearing Geometric Chairs

London design firm AndViceVersa has come up with a very cool idea for a table and chairs, especially if your space is a premium.

What looks like a simple geometric sculpture is actually a set of table and chairs. The table and chairs are made of laser cut metal pieces, which are then welded together.

The set is available in 4, 6, or 8 seat options, and the great thing about it is that when it is not in use it is a true piece of functional art.

 

 

 

Herman Miller Special Edition Eames Table

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ray Eames Herman Miller is releasing a special product; the Wire Base Low Table.

Ray Eames was a truly revolutionary designer, and we think its great that Herman Miller has decided to pay an ode to her with such a simple, yet, frankly, cool product.

The tables will be available in mid October in three colors.

Heavy Rabbit Magazine Rack

The title of this blog may be somewhat misleading, since the Heavy Rabbit by Bongo Design can triple as a magazine rack, a stool, or a table.

The Heavy Rabbit, by Bongo Design, is a very cool and multi-functional piece of furniture. It is constructed from individually bent steel rods, which are welded together, and then powder-coated with the color of your choice (we should mention that the mint green color isn’t bad either).

The Heavy Rabbit is yet another example of magnificent design. Frankly, it is a great piece of furniture that any of us would love to have in our homes and/or offices. The fact that it is functional in more ways than one is definitely a bonus and is a showcase of great design.
